Whether you’re considering leaving your home country or already abroad, I hope these travel quotes might help with some of the ups and downs that come with taking the plunge to travel or live overseas. I know that inspiring quotes have been helpful for me during much of my time abroad and I try to share them with my clients as much as possible.
Here’s a sampling of some of the travel quotes, or rather quotes that can benefit people who are traveling, that I most frequently share with my clients to help them cope with a variety of different challenges related to living abroad:

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
– Dr. Seuss

– J.R.R. Tolkien
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.”
– Mark Twain
“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
– A.A. Milne
“If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done.”
-Thomas Jefferson
“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”
